The mission of Disabled Women Ireland (DWI) is to be a national voice for the needs and rights of self-identified women and non-binary/genderqueer/ gender non-confirming people with disabilities and a national force to improve the lives and life chances of people with disabilities.

Disabled Women Ireland
(a) to actively promote the participation of self-identified women and non-binary/genderqueer/ gender non-confirming people with disabilities in all aspects of social, economic, political and cultural life;
(b) to advocate on issues of concern to self-identified women and non-binary/genderqueer/ gender non-confirming people with disabilities in Ireland; and

(C) to grow a network of disabled self-identified women and non-binary/genderqueer/ gender non-confirming people
(d) to seek to be the national representative organisation for self-identified women and non-binary/genderqueer/ gender non-confirming people with disabilities in Ireland by:

·         (i) undertaking systemic advocacy;

·         (ii) campaigning on legal and policy change,

·         (iii) campaigning for social change and,

·         (iv) providing information and education.
